At Capital Wrestling Club, we are committed to teaching and mentoring students to strive for excellence, develop confidence, and a strong work ethic through the sport of wrestling. We believe that wrestling builds self-reliance under pressure. The character, mental toughness, discipline, and work ethic that wrestling demands follow our athletes into classrooms, careers, and communities.

Founded in Gaithersburg, MD by lifelong wrestlers with state championships, NCAA All-American honors, and 45+ combined years of youth coaching, Capital Wrestling club was created to give every wrestler, from first-timers to high school state title competitors, access to elite-level coaching an a culture that develops champions on and off the mat. CWC believed that the greater Washington D.C. area deserved a facility build around wrestling and nothing else.
